Week 2 Discussion - Article Review
For discussion Week 2 you will read the article attached and provide a summary. Please review the rubric attached. I will not require a specific word limit on this post. It is not about quantity but quality. As I said in my introduction video, my goal is for you to learn and grow in this class so a word count is less important, as long as you complete your discussion thoroughly including all the parts. As a guide, a sentence or two informing me of the two hypotheses, 1-2 paragraphs describing each of the three studies and what the research learned should suffice and a few sentences to tell me what you found interesting. This discussion is to allow you to begin learning how to read a research article and summarize. I do not expect you to understand every word, just be able to summarize the key parts. Please ensure you are using your own words and not to plagiarize.
Overall you will need to read this article and complete the following:
- Identify the two hypotheses
- How many participants were in each of the three studies?
- What did the researchers learn from that study?
- What did you find interesting?
