Background
Effective family therapy treatment planning involves integrating information from various sources. For your chosen family, you have already gathered information for the genogram, eco map, and developed an understanding of the presenting issues and family dynamics. For this assignment, you will begin integrating this information and applying a chosen theory to conceptualize the case and plan treatment.
Instructions
For this part of the Signature Assignment, you will integrate the materials you have gathered from the previous interviews with the selected family. Develop a case conceptualization applying one of the specific family therapy theories covered. Develop an initial treatment play applying interventions from the identified family therapy theory. During the next week, you will learn more about integrating treatment in family therapy and two additional approaches which you may find relevant to your signature assignment.
