Zimbardo Stanford Prison Experiment Assignment
- In one well-developed paragraph, describe the Zimbardo Stanford Prison Experiment. A well-developed paragraph has a minimum of five complete sentences.
- Identify and discuss the main insight generated by this research. Hint: It has to do with the power of social situations. In addition to viewing the videos, also consult pages 9-10 of your textbook ( see The Power of the Situation, p. 9).
- Apply the main insight to a personal experience you have had.
- Apply the main insight to a historical event about which you have read or heard. Make sure you clearly state how the main insight and the historical event are connected. If you cannot think of one, then you will have to do a little research in order to complete the assignment.
This is worth ten points. Make sure you write in complete sentences and make sure you proofread your paper prior to submission; spelling, grammar, and punctuation count. All submissions are to be done via Canvas. Your submitted paper should consist of at least four well-developed paragraphs.
