For this assignment, you will locate 10 peer-reviewed sources related to your case and target behaviors. You will summarize each source and explain how it applies to your project. The Cooper, Heron, and Heward Textbook may count as one source.

Step 1: Review your case and target behaviors

Before searching for articles, review:

• your learner
• your target behaviors
• your proposed area of intervention

This will help you choose sources that match your project.

Step 2: Locate 10 peer-reviewed sources

Find 10 scholarly, peer-reviewed sources related to the behavior or intervention you are considering.

Your sources should be appropriate for ABA practice and relevant to your case.

Step 3: Read each source carefully

Read each article closely enough to understand:

• the intervention or strategy used
• the behavior being addressed
• the outcomes of the study

You do not need to summarize every detail. Focus on the parts most relevant to your project.

Step 4: Record the APA citation

Write the full APA reference for each source.

Make sure your citation is formatted correctly.

Step 5: Summarize the intervention

For each source, write a short summary in your own words.

Your summary should explain:

• what intervention or strategy was used
• what behavior or skill was targeted
• what the article found

Do not copy sentences from the article.

Step 6: Explain how the source applies to your case

After the summary, explain how the article relates to your learner or project.

You may discuss:

• why the intervention seems relevant
• how it could support your capstone plan
• what part of the article helped guide your thinking

Step 7: Repeat for all three sources

Complete the same process for each of your three sources.

Step 8: Review for originality and relevance

Before submitting, check that:

• all three sources are peer-reviewed
• each source is relevant to your case
• each summary is in your own words
• each explanation clearly connects the source to your project

Step 9: Submit your work

Your final submission should include:

• 10 APA-formatted references
• a short summary of each source
• a clear explanation of how each source applies to your case
