Using the city or county of your practicum site (or your home county if you do not yet have a placement yet), identify any three programs that respond to mental health or behavioral crises with mental health professionals, peer support paraprofessionals, or specially trained police officers. City of Lemon Grove or San Diego County
Include examples such as:
- Mobile or Field‑Based Crisis Teams
- Mobile Crisis Teams (MCT)
- Mobile Crisis Response Units (MCRU)
- Community Assessment & Transport Teams (CATT)
- Co‑Responder Teams (clinician + EMT/paramedic or clinician + officer)
- 988‑linked crisis teams
- Peer‑led or culturally specific crisis teams
- Short‑Term Crisis Stabilization Services
- Crisis Stabilization Units (CSUs)
- Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT)
- Youth or Adult Crisis Residential Programs
- Peer Respite Centers
- Walk‑in crisis clinics
If your county lacks one of these services, identify the closest alternative and note the gap.
Part 2. Describe Three Programs You Found

- Program name
- Type of service (mobile crisis, CSU, CRT, peer respite, etc.)
- Who responds / staffing model
- Hours of operation
- How the service is accessed (988, county crisis line, 911 diversion, walk‑in, referral)
- Types of crises they respond to or stabilize
- Length of stay (if residential)
Bullet points are encouraged. Part 3. Practicum Relevance (Short Paragraph)

- How you might use these services with clients
- How they support safety planning
- How they reduce reliance on law enforcement
- How they help marginalized or vulnerable clients
- How police training (or lack of training) affects crisis planning
