PSYC 4101 GROUP PROJECT (Gestalt Psychology)
Hi! I need your help with an assignment, but this one is a group project, so I only need you to complete my assigned sections, not the entire paper.
Our group selected Gestalt Psychology as the school of thought for the assignment.
The scenario selected by the group is:
Scenario D: Using your knowledge of the development of this school of thought to guide the behavior of an educator working with young children.
The final paper will be approximately 5–6 pages total, but the other members of my group are responsible for the introduction, historical background, application to the scenario, conclusion, and putting together the final reference page.
My assigned portion consists of TWO sections:
1. Analysis of how other schools of thought have affected the development of Gestalt Psychology — suggested length: 2–3 paragraphs.
Please address this question from the assignment:
“How have other schools of thought contributed to your school of thought? Compare/contrast the schools of thought and interpret any connections.”
For this section, I need an analysis of how other psychological schools of thought influenced, contributed to, or contrasted with the development of Gestalt Psychology. Please make sure it is more than simply describing the different schools; it should explain the connections and compare/contrast them with Gestalt Psychology.
2. Analysis of cultural influences that have affected the development of Gestalt Psychology — suggested length: 2–3 paragraphs.
Please address this question:
“How have societal movements and/or cultural factors shaped the development of this school of thought?”
For this section, please discuss relevant historical, societal, and cultural factors that influenced the development and spread of Gestalt Psychology.
Please use multiple academic sources for my sections, and make sure that one of the sources is my course textbook. Please include APA 7 in-text citations and provide the full references for all sources used, since I need to send them to the group member compiling the final reference page.
Since this is going to be combined with the work of my other group members, please do not write an introduction or conclusion for the entire paper and do not complete the Scenario D application section. I only need my two assigned sections written so that they can be inserted naturally into the larger group paper.
Please keep the writing appropriate for an undergraduate psychology course: academic and well-supported, but natural and not unnecessarily complicated.
Also, please make sure that the sources actually support the statements being cited and that all in-text citations have a corresponding full APA reference.
