Project Proposal Part 1
For this assignment, you will begin your research project proposal by identifying your topic, research question, literature review, and general plans. You will work in the same document that you will use for the remainder of your proposal in Unit 3. Your instructor and an additional committee member will provide feedback on your content, and you can address their feedback in Unit 3.
Please complete the learning activity and discussion board in Unit 2 before working on this assignment.
Use the Graduate Research Project Proposal Template to complete this assignment. Your assignment should include numbers 1–8 in the template to complete the following:
- Research project topic
- Research question
- Remember, this should be relevant to ABA and clearly stated.
- Literature Review (this is separate from the systematic literature review you are conducting as your research; the literature review completed here will begin your paper and set the stage for your study and research question).
- Context
- Importance of topic to ABA (rationale)
- Purpose
- Data source checklist
Please review and follow the assignment requirements in the next tab titled Assignment Details. Your assignment should use the Graduate Research Project Proposal Template and should include the following elements:
- Body: Answer questions 1–8 in complete sentences and paragraphs.
- The assignment must be written in Standard English and demonstrate superior organization, including a highly developed viewpoint and purpose.
- Your responses should reflect professional writing standards, using proper tone and language. The writing and writing style should be correct and accurate, and reflect knowledge of skills and practice of the profession.
- The communication of your thoughts must be highly ordered, logical, and unified, displaying exceptional content, organization, style, and mechanics (including the use of correct grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure).
- Use Arial or Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced and left-aligned.
- Use standard 1" margins on all sides.
- Use current APA formatting and citation style.

Submitting your Assignment
