Project Proposal Part 2
Please ensure you completed the learning activity and discussion board in Unit 3 prior to working on this assignment.
For this assignment, you will finalize a draft of your graduate research project proposal that you began working on in Unit 2.
You will include the main components of your research study proposal (numbers 1-8 with any revisions from feedback) including the addition of your methods section and reference list (numbers 9 and 10 in the template).
Your instructor and an additional committee member will provide feedback on your content, and you will address their feedback before including your final proposal in Unit 4.
Use the Graduate Research Project Proposal Template to complete numbers 9–10 for this assignment. Your assignment should include the following information:
- Any needed revisions to numbers 1–8 in the proposal (from Unit 2 feedback)
- Research project topic
- Research question
- Literature review (This is separate from the systematic literature review you are conducting as your research; your overview literature review will begin your paper and set the stage for your study and research question.)
- Context
- Importance of topic to ABA (rationale)
- Purpose
- Data source checklist
- Overview of Your Methods
- Search strategy
- Inclusion/exclusion criteria
- Screening/selection methods
- Data extraction plan
- Data analysis plan
- Reference list (to introduce your topic; this will get longer as you collect your articles to review for data)
Please review and follow the assignment requirements in the next tab titled Assignment Details. Your assignment should use the Graduate Research Project Proposal Template and should include the following elements:
- Body: Answer all the questions in complete sentences and paragraphs.
- The assignment must be written in Standard English and demonstrate superior organization, including a highly developed viewpoint and purpose.
- Your responses should reflect professional writing standards, using proper tone and language. The writing and writing style should be correct and accurate, and reflect knowledge of skills and practice of the profession.
- The communication of your thoughts must be highly ordered, logical, and unified, displaying exceptional content, organization, style, and mechanics (including the use of correct grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure).
- Reference page: Sources listed in current APA format.
- Include 5–8 scholarly or academic sources.
- Use Arial or Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced and left-aligned.
- Use standard 1" margins on all sides.
- Use current APA formatting and citation style.
