Psychology Question
Individual or Group Assignment #2B: Final Research Proposal Paper & Presentation Related to Educational Psychology. This assignment demonstrates your competencies related to important research-related protocols. This assignment demonstrates your abilities to think, plan, and proceed like a researcher in the field of educational psychology. To complete this research proposal, you may work independently or in a group. There are three required parts to this assignment:
A. Present your ideas in writing on a potential research proposal topic & outline related inquiry question(s), a hypothesis (optional), a theoretical framework (optional), a problem statement, a literature review, a design & methods section, the limitations/delimitations, the significance/implications, the dissemination plan, and a references section (include at least three references). Ideally, you should address all sections outlined in the prompt and at least two empirical articles to support your research proposal. Your final proposal may be 6 to 12 pp., 10 to 12 pt. font, and single or double-spaced. Cite accordingly using the formats of APA, ASA, MLA, etc. If you are working in a group, when you submit your assignment, list your group members' first and last names. Everyone submits the same proposal for individual credit. Groups comprised of 5 to 10 students are recommended (no more than 12; independent and pairs are also okay).
* Upload the written proposal to the Canvas BruinLearn Assignment portal.
B. Organize a corresponding research proposal presentation using the key sections of your written proposal. Ideally, you should address all sections outlined in the research proposal template (include the main headings and address all areas noted relevant to your project). If you are working in a group, when you submit your presentation assignment, list your group members' first and last names. Everyone submits the same presentation for individual credit. Your presentation may be 7 to 14 pp., 9 to 14 pt. font, single or double-spaced, and may include images and other graphics. Aim for your presentation to be around 10 to 14 minutes. Remember to include key research proposal headings and to cite accordingly within slides and at the end in the reference section. Cite accordingly using the formats of APA, ASA, MLA, etc.

C. Create an online shareable link and post this link along with all research proposal information and group members' information on this Google Doc This Google Doc will become our class research proposal symposium schedule. You may organize a pre-recorded video, slideshow voice-over, or live presentation (no video or voice-over). Ideally, everyone should assume a role in presenting the proposal. However, so long as everyone contributes to the work, one or a couple of students can present the proposal. Regardless, you must organize your presentation on a shareable online link. This link will facilitate the organization of our end-of-class symposium and the showcasing of your presentation (during weeks 9 and 10). Such shareable links can be created using UCLA Box, Google Drive, PowerPoint (latest version), YouTube, etc.
* Post your presentation's shareable link to the Class Google Doc.(remember to make your link, slides, and audio files accessible to everyone
