Milestone 4 341

Milestone 4 341

Milestone Activity 4

For this milestone activity, you are asked to familiarize yourself with the schedule of drugs, and then drawing upon what you've learned about the effects of the drugs covered in this module determine if you think that they are scheduled appropriately. Specifically, you are asked to focus on LSD, ketamine, and marijuana. Again, more information about the current federal scheduling system can be found here.

You should draw on information covered in this module in making your judgment, but you may also need to consult with external resources as well. Once again, any information pulled from external sources should be cited using APA guidelines for doing so. You may decide that the current schedule is appropriate or you may decide that there is reason to argue for rescheduling the drug. In either case, you should justify your response for each drug. You should plan on 2-3 pages of written text (plus any reference information) to complete this assignment. As per usual, you should double-space your document, use a 12 point font, and incorporate one-inch margins all around. The completed document should be saved in a file format that is compatible with Microsoft Word and uploaded to Brightspace.

By completing this exercise, you will be reviewing the important information covered in this chapter and engaging your critical thinking skills in determining where these drugs best fit given the parameters outlined in the schedules themselves.
