1) Activity: Take a look at some of the medical posters from in this Visual Culture and Health Posters collections frothNational Library of MedicineLinks to an external site.. Select a poster that is date between 1900 and 1950 that you find interesting. Post the poster to the discussion board. In at least 200 words, describe why you selected this image and what you think it says about the depiction of medicine in the media. Some things you could write about include: what does this poster indicate to us about its intended audience? What kind of medical claims does it (appear to) make? What kind of evidence does it provide? What does it appear to say about its subject?
In at least 50 words each, comment on ads selected by two of your peers, noting what you find intriguing or find strange in the image they chose.

Health RegulationPost a recent article about some aspect of health regulation. This can be about medications (price, labelling, testing, etc.), health insurance, or any other subject that relates to regulating health.
In at least 100 words, tell us what you found interesting about this article and why. Read the posted article and comment on the responses of at least two of your peers (minimum 50 words each comment).
