Overview
Compose a paragraph describing relevant (background) concepts or knowledge (examples from literature) related to their specific objective. Statements should be comprehensible to an audience of biology seniors. Presented information should be accurate.
Tips:
First, identify topics included in the background part of your sample review paper.
Second, criticize the background: does it cover the critical background for readers to understand the rest of the paper and does it include excessive and unnecessary topics?
Third, sketch what topics would you include in your own background (a draft).
