Consider a simplified version of the main regression in Rose and Betts (2004) “The Effect of
High School Courses on Earnings” The Review of Economics and Statistics. 86(2): 497-513. Observations
represent individuals ? and we regress the individual’s log earnings as an adult on an indicator for
