PROMPT
There are two main approaches to classifying mental health disorders: categorical (as in the DSM-5 TR) and dimensional (as in RDoC).
- How should we approach mental health classifications?
- Should we continue to use a categorical approach, move to a dimensional approach, or develop some combination of the two?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages to the different approaches?
