Overview
submit a one-to-two-page document in which you describe what your favorite science is and why you like it (pull in your hobbies or favorite subjects on TV, for example!) and you compare the science you selected to other sciences.
Here are some brief ticklers to get you started and give you a sense of the structure. Your submission will be an expanded version of these.
- I like Biology because I love animals and learning new things about animals is always fun. Biology makes more sense than physics or chemistry to me because I understand animals and what I see, unlike a bunch of math equations or fizzy solutions. Biology focuses on life and the other sciences concern themselves with dead matter.
- I really love physics! It is a hard science because it's made of math and makes better sense than the other sciences. I enjoy cars and archery as hobbies and that boils down to physics! The other sciences aren’t as descriptive as physics because they can’t explain everything with math.
- Side note: hobbies include outdoor activities like fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, and traveling. Favorite subjects on TV: comedy, sports, action.. However you can use your own favorite science.
