Final Deliverable Submission/Format
Your final paper will be a report consisting of a title page, three pages of text, and a References page or pages. Please use 12-point Times New Roman font, double spacing for paragraphs, and include at least 5 references.
Here’s how your paper should be structured:
- Paper title (include your topic, but get creative): New GMO Crops, why we need Golden Rice!
- Author line, including full name: Johnathan P. Doe Jr.
- Introduce your topic: Open with a paragraph or two about the general topic (GMOs) and narrow it down to the specific topic (Golden Rice).
- Describe why the topic is of interest to you: Write a paragraph or two about the topic as you find it interesting and why you find it interesting.
- Describe why the topic is of interest to others: What are others saying about this topic? Is there a controversy? Is there competition in the field or criticism of the method of study, etc.? Write as much as you need.
- Describe the current research on the topic: This is the main point of the paper. CiteLinks to an external site. your references here (and everywhere you are using information from another source). This may take up some space (at least three paragraphs), but here is where you summarize the main findings of the papers you found.
- Conclusion: Use a closing paragraph to remind the reader of what you want them to remember. What is/are the most important point(s) and what do you think they should remember or believe about this topic?
- References: Provide a separate ReferencesLinks to an external site. page for the papers you used in your research. Please include at least five, and, if you list them here, be sure to cite them in the text. There should be no references without citations in the body of the paper.
