Signature Assignment: Synthesize Historical Learner Performance, Assessments, and Outcomes into Specific Strategy
Background
This assignment requires you to synthesize and analyze your historical academic data and personal reflections, as well as choosing a behavior change framework you may want to learn more about. You will create a slide deck that serves as an indirect assessment report detailing past study behaviors during your program, the interventions applied, and outcomes. This report will help inform future behavioral interventions and prepare you for direct assessments in the capstone course.
Through a detailed examination of past behaviors, interventions, and their outcomes, the report aims to identify pivotal skills and behaviors that will be the focus of subsequent direct assessments for a behavior intervention plan in ABA670. The integration of cultural identity, intersectionality, and emotional experiences provides a holistic view of the factors influencing learning and behavior, enhancing the relevance and efficacy of future intervention strategies.
Goals
- To systematically document, define, and evaluate past learning behaviors and the interventions you have employed.
- To identify target behaviors for future assessment and intervention using behavior analytic principles.
- To prepare for the direct assessment phase, in the capstone course, by establishing a list of pivotal study skills that need improvement.
Instructions
- Follow the provided slide structure (in the attached .ppt template) to detail your study behaviors, interventions, and their outcomes.
- Carefully read the slide deck template, from start to finish, before you start. There are key requirements on each slide.
- IMPORTANT: Each of the five (5) target behavior slides should also include numerical data, describe interventions using ABA terminology, and include visuals like graphs to illustrate your results.
- Submit your final deck in PowerPoint or PDF format via the course management system by the deadline listed in the syllabus. Ensure your presentation is clear, professionally formatted, and adheres to all guidelines given. Your work will be evaluated on content accuracy, depth of analysis, presentation quality, and adherence to instructions.
