Overview
After studying Module 3: Lecture Materials & Resources, discuss the following:
- Evaluate factors that predispose Inuits to risk as a result of the consumption of large quantities of sugar, using current data on diabetes prevalence and SDOH.
- Analyze different strategies useful in communicating with the Japanese American families, and how these strategies support patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Analyze personal space preferences when caring for Russian American clients, and discuss how cultural competence policies support respectful patient care.
