Use some of the ideas in Chapter 20 or the supplemental documents to analyze, code, and interpret the data below:

For your results, please write a 2-3 page interpretation of your findings, like the ones we wrote for the quantitative data. In your interpretation, write about your coding system, justifying your interpretations with quotes (words, phrases, and/or sentences) from the transcript. Write about your larger themes or categories, explaining how your codes created those categories.
For some, this assignment can be very difficult, and I appreciate this because in reality, qualitative analysis is very difficult. I am not going to grade on APA style or finding the "correct" interpretations but on the process of analyzing and presenting qualitative data. This is all subjective, and interpretation will partly be based on your personality, background, beliefs, what resonates with you, blindspots, so so many factors! Just do the best you can, let the words speak to you, and let your creative mind respond.
Be sure to include some sort of diagram or table along with your write-up.
