Overview
Each student will explore and analyze their own community for the possibility of creating an agency that could benefit the members of the community for the Community Business Plan.
Each 7-10 min presentation (recorded using Microsoft Teams or Zoom with the "screen share" turned on) will address the following topics within their Community Analysis:
- History of Community and Community Growth
- Census Data
- Population
- Income
- Age of community
- Demographics
- SWOT
- Strengths,
- Weaknesses,
- Opportunities,
- Threats
- Community Needs
- Community Resources and Social Services currently available.
Topics are not just limited to the above-mentioned area. Please review the rubrics before starting the Community Analysis assignment.
A Video Presentation is REQUIRED. Please use Microsoft Teams or Zoom to record your presentation with the "screen share" turned on. That way, I can see a cohesive presentation with your faces in the video and the Powerpoint in the background. OneDrive Files will not be opened, which will result in a grade of "0"
