Overview
For Part 4, you will develop your own leadership philosophy, incorporating your values and the ethical frameworks with which you most identify. Review Chapter 1.4 and reflect upon your results from the Personal Values Assessment from Written Assignment 2. List the five values that are most important to you and explain why. Then, explain which ethical framework(s) you find yourself most drawn to and why (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics, social contract theory, justice theory). Choose three of the specific components of ethical leadership from Chapter 1.4 and describe how and why you would like to incorporate these characteristics into your leadership philosophy. Then develop a list of five practical guidelines for ethical leadership aligned with your values that will comprise your personal ethical leadership philosophy. Explain your reasoning for choosing your guidelines. Submit Part 4 using the Part 4: Personal Ethical Leadership Philosophy Template.
