Overview
According to Grant and Osanloo (2014), “theory-driven thinking and acting [is the foundation of] selecting a topic, developing research questions,” and other essential proposal elements (p. 12). Being able to articulate these elements clearly in writing is an essential act.
This assignment is designed to aid you in clearly articulating foundational information concerning your dissertation proposal – the research topic, research gap, and research design.
Instructions
You will share information concerning three elements of the proposal – the topic, the research gap, and the research design (one paragraph about each for a total of three paragraphs). Each paragraph will be fully developed and show strong support from the literature.
There is no specific word count expected for these paragraphs, but they must be substantial, worthy of a doctoral-level discussion, strongly supported by the literature with multiple citations, and explain your thinking concerning the three elements.
As a note, no responses to peers are required, but they are certainly encouraged since all of you are learning together.
