he previous Group Project (NOW AN INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT REPORT is designed to allow the students in the course to work cohesively towards a common goal that meets the requirements of the course objectives. Working in Groups is VERY IMPORTANT and can be daunting for some students, but it is important that you work together to develop a common goal towards any GROUP ASSIGNMENT. Due to time complications and challenges in getting your classmates to work online, I will let each of you work individually. As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, The New Workforce in the Deep Rural South has impacted our children and family life as we know it. Students who are parents have an even greater challenge in balancing work, life, children, family and school. This assessment of STUDENT PARENTS TODAY is required and each of you in the course. You will use the skills you will develop in the course to develop your Individual Assessment Report or Powerpoint due by December 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. TOPIC: STUDENT PARENTS Assignment: 1. Read the summary below on Student Parents at GSU. 2. Research the topic and compile a list of 3 references (peer-reviewed articles, magazines, books and websites). THIS MUST BE INCLUDED. 3. Write a 6 page Individual Assessment Report on the topic: Challenges Facing Student Parents at GSU (include data nationally, regionally, statewide and at HBCUs). The six pages must include: 1) cover page (APA format); 2) Statement of the problem or Abstract; 3) Introduction; 4) Analysis of the Problem; 5) Summary and Recommendations; 5) Survey Questions; 6) References. or Create a 10-slide PPT. on the topic: Becoming a GSU Student Parent at GSU: Challenges, Barriers and Belonging ALL ITEMS ABOVE SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN YOUR PPT. 4. Create a 5 -10 item survey that asked GSU student parents about their experiences of being a parent and balancing work, family and school. YOUR SURVEY MUST BE INCLUDED AS THE LAST PORTION OF THE YOUR INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT REPORT ( on a separate page before your reference page. 5. Submit both items into 1 document and submit it in Canvas.
