Essay: Urban green/trees, health, and heat
Students are assigned to write an essay on the topic of the April 23 seminar and submit it to this discussion. Each student's essay must be unique. The essay must be at least three well written paragraphs to receive credit. It can be more than three paragraphs. Essays have an introduction and a conclusion and a body of the essay that lies between the introduction and the conclusion. Each paragraph has one central topic, and its purpose must be clearly related to the thesis of the essay. It should persuade the reader of your thesis. All paragraphs should be coherent and well-developed. Usually, the introduction states a central idea that is a thesis for the essay. The body of the essay contains the core of the argument. The conclusion restates the essay in a more concise summary. The conclusion reflects upon the essay in some way.
