An SDS includes the following five things:
Names of dangerous ingredients, emergency procedures if there happens to be an incident, information on flammability of the product being used, precautions to take while using the product and lastly the health and safety hazards of the chemical.
I believe that these are necessary in salons because it’s important to know what you’re working with and know how to control the situation the best you can if theres a possible incident. I’ve never really heard much about SDS before I found them really interesting while reading about them.
