The purpose of this assignment is to:
- Gain a deeper understanding of one selected model of family therapy and investigate how it is utilized in social work practice.
- Examine how a selected model has been used with a specific population from an intersectional lens.
- Examine research on the efficacy of the selected model.

- Provide a brief overview of the model (citing at least four (4) peer-reviewed sources, using APA 7 citations).
- How does this model address issues related to age, caste, class, color, culture, disability and ability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity and expression, generational status, immigration status, legal status, marital status, political ideology, race, nationality, religion and spirituality, sex, sexual orientation, and tribal sovereign status. If the model does not address these issues, address this. (Cite sources using APA 7.)
- Apply the model to a case (hypothetical or from your field placement, protecting confidentiality of the client system).
- Provide a brief overview of the case including relevant demographic information, family issues, and presenting issues.
- Discuss application of the chosen model to the case. Be specific about the application of the model to the case (e.g., what clinical techniques will you use, etc.).
