From the evidence I was given I think that Elaine was behind the murder of Mr. Gavin Brooks. I think that the reason why I'm pointed towards Elaine is because she isn’t allergic to anything so she could drink the wine. She is a small female making her foot size most likely 5 feet. Also Elaine lives in downtown Centerville and she has classes in downtown Centerville too. Mr. Brooks' car was abandoned in an area in downtown Centerville. I was also leaning towards Gail because they both hate the color yellow but she's a vegan. There was chicken on the plate that was in pieces.
A what if I could have been looking at Elaine's teacher to see if she showed up late in class. If she killed Mr. Brooks at 4:20pm she had to get his car and drive it into an abandoned parking lot then after this she had to drive to her class. It would be pretty hard and crunch time doing all that in such a short time. So a what if is asking the teacher if she showed up late to the class or maybe was in a big rush. Just get the most witnesses as you can for this investigation.
JANICE: works full-time as a caterer, doesn’t know how to drive, are very petite women – they wear size 4 jeans.
People would start pointing fingers at Janice because of how small she is. Yes she could fit the shoe size description there's a major thing that's off. She doesn't know how to drive, meaning that she couldn’t have driven Mr. Brooks' car into an abandoned parking lot.
GAIL: schoolteachers, lives in a nearby town called Jordan, smokers, is a vegan (she eats no animal products)
Gail could be pointed to because she is a smoker and there was a smoked cigarette in the crime scene. The reason why she isn’t the murder is because there is chicken eaten in the crime scene but she’s a vegetarian so she couldn’t have been there.
RITA: Rita arrived home in her own car at about 5PM, father owns a gun shop, lives in a country house about thirty miles west of Centerville, is a florist.
She could be pointed out by her father owning a gun shop letting her have the murder weapon of Mr. Brook but if the death was at 4:20pm how did she arrive at her house at 5pm if she lives 30 miles away it will at least take her an hour to get home.
PEGGY: live together in a two-bedroom apartment in downtown Centerville, smokers, deathly allergic to grapes.
Peggy does smoke but a thing that isn’t right is that she is allergic to grapes. The food at the crime scene had wine. Wine is usually made by smashed grapes. So she got crossed off as a suspect.
LAUREN: works at a chemical supply house, played center for a semi-professional basketball team five years ago. She has red hair and is six feet, one inch tall.
Lauren isn’t hard to know that she isn’t the murder because she isn’t going to have 5 foot feet. She’s 6’1 there’s no way she has 5 feet. It all points into Elaine that she murdered Mr. Brook
