Carefully observe the styles of photojournalists, commercial photographers, fashion photographers in Chapter 10, and the online material provided in the syllabus. Choose a photographer and imitate their style in this week’s post. Explain why you chose the photographer and what the dominant characteristics are in his/her work. You can use a cell phone camera file or scan a print from a disposable camera, if you don’t have a digital camera. Embed the image in your post. Think of this as a mini version of the final project. This will get you thinking about who you want to study in depth and also give you a chance to start looking through the lens using another photographer’s perspective.

Your response should be following the guidelines above, though hopefully this additional information will help you to see the intention of this week's post. The purpose is to help you prepare for your final project. You just need to take one picture and post it with your comments. The class and I will give you feedback that may help you if you choose the second option for the final assignment.
