The Assignment
- Refer to the DSM-5-TR to find a diagnosis that you feel best fits the case study based on the criteria you see.
- Provisionally diagnose each case.
- Identify the severity level and/or specifiers, if applicable.
- Fill in your Diagnosis Template for each case study. For your selected disorder, consider how the patient does or does not meet each criterion listed in the DSM-5-TR.
- In the template, identify any additional information you would need to confirm your diagnoses.
- In the template, identify at least two differential or potential comorbid diagnoses.
