My name is Amalia.
I chose Pharmacy tech because I wanted a new career path I want to do something more as I get older because I don't think I want to do what I'm doing now at my current job when im 50. I thought about doing this when I went to adult school doing medical records and insurance processing and pharm tech was the next available class but was never set up. Then I saw it was being offered here at VVC and was excited that I get to learn it.
My career goal is to quit my current job and do pharm tech full time because I feel there are not enough pharmacy techs in pharmacies.
I bring kindness and compassion to healthcare and a lot of patience which I feel you need for healthcare.
