Overview
Journal Question 1: (Big Question) Do we still need feminism? (Sub Questions) To fully answer this question, consider: What is feminism? How has feminist thinking and action changed women's lives in the U.S. in the last 50 or so years? Do you still think feminism is valuable for achieving gender equality? What about you personally? Is feminism valuable for you?
- Tip: The first question is always the "big" question. Your thesis line (first line) should be an answer to this question/an argument you are going to make. The next three questions, the sub questions, should each receive one paragraph of coverage based on your readings/using evidence from the text - these sections support your larger argument/thesis and help prove your answer to the big question. The last line of your paper should be a conclusion that wraps everything up!
