Overview
Students will write a research paper on a topic that pertains to the sociological study of mental health and illness. You will not be expected to analyze data; rather, you will draw from past research to provide a comprehensive discussion of a topic of your choosing. You may choose a topic beyond the scope of the required readings, but just be sure your topic pertains to the sociological study of mental health and illness.
