Overview
OUTLINE:
Organize and synthesize each section of your paper. Include your main headers (Intro, Lit Review, Conclusion) and each header and sub-header under those. Include at least one theoretical perspective and two related social factors (race/class/gender/sexuality/etc.). In each of these sections you will include the proper in-text citation for each piece of research that you will use for that section (see OUTLINE EXAMPLE in Module 3).
Make sure all of the below are included in your Outline: 1.) Major headings with a working thesis statement in introduction. 2.) At least two main points (sub-headers that you intend to discuss under each heading). 3.) Every reference that will be used to write each heading/sub-topic (at least 2 per topic).
REFERENCE PAGE: Include a reference page in proper APA or ASA format, including a minimum of 10 sociological/criminology scholarly peer-reviewed, journal articles.
Include any government/state/organization sites that you have gathered information (data or stats) from and plan to use in your literature review.
Please make sure that you look through the formatting very carefully to be sure that these are in proper APA/ASA format. Your reference page should be absolutely fine tuned and all periods, parenthesis, capitalization, italics, etc., as well the correct information for each resource, needs to be exactly where it is meant to be.
