Overview
For this Project 2 assignment, continue to research, analyze and write about the topic you have selected in the Project 1 Annotated Bibliography assignment. Now, using your P1 topic, write a 4-5 -page essay that demonstrates your understanding for the influence that social structure has on the individual and/or groups of people. Additionally, students should be able to recognize and discuss the basic sociological concepts from our course such as theory/perspectives, culture, socialization, stratification and social inequalities that may include race, class, and gender - or any of the many inequalities you select.
Title page & Works Cited Bibliography are required - as my preference regardless of style format.
Use a Running Head and Pagination (also my preference regardless of style format).
- Double-spaced, 4-5 pages, 12-font Calibri Light or Times New Roman.
1” margins top/bottom and left/right (so all around).
Works Cited page with the references from the annotated bibliography (do not include the annotated paragraphs – those are for your use in writing the final essay in addition to new sources you've found).
- The course textbooks/glossary must be on your works cited page and referred to within the body of your text using in-text citations. This too is my preference.
Proofread often and carefully for any spelling, grammar, punctuation, or formatting errors.
