Overview
Submit a glossary of 10 key concepts from the attached Concept List (I have highlighted 10 but feel free to choose others) and for each write a 500-word entry explaining the concept. For each concept, use only the attached texts and authors as sources. You have to clearly give an account of the concept — reconstructing the concept in your own words — and identify the theorist you use. Make sure to include direct quotes with page number citations. You’ll be graded on your final according to the following rubric:
- Adequacy: Submitting a coherent piece of writing that meets the word requirements and is submitted on time
- Formal: Clarity and intelligibility of your writing, and style of prose
- Accuracy: Demonstrating your understanding of the text(s), and accurately reconstructing arguments of the text(s)
- Critical Engagement: Demonstrating sustained, systematic and thoughtful engagement with the texts.
3 texts are attached (Textbook, Freud, Omi and Winant) as well as Concept list to choose 10 concepts from. Make sure to include citations with specific page numbers from where you are quoting or referencing!!
