Overview
After researching the following link about "fictive kinships," answer the following three questions in an initial post:
1) Using 15 words or less, how would you define "fictive kinship," in your own words? Be clear and concise. Post your word count.
2) With whom do you share a fictive kinship? (If you cannot identify one within your own life or do not feel comfortable sharing personal information, you may use an example of people you know. For example, a neighbor, somebody you work with, or a teammate. Do not share their names or other identifiable information.)
3) In no less than one full paragraph AND using additional terms and concepts from the link provided or our course textbook only, support your claim that the above relationship is indeed a fictive kinship.
Highlight, BOLD, or italicize the terms and concepts you select. (While you may incorporate the term "fictive kinship" in this response, the term "fictive kinship" will not count towards the terms and concepts required.)
Then, respond to each two other students. When responding to other students, comment on:
