create a PowerPoint presentation to present an analysis of stratification you see throughout your community.
- Slide 1 – Title page: Include your name, the course name, assignment title, and date.
- Slide 2 – Conflict perspective as the title. Add pictures to the slide that represent the following: religion, education, government, gender, and race. In the note section, discuss the definition of conflict perspective and how each item represents stratification for the 5 subsets. One picture may represent all of the stratifications. Include at least one in-text citation to substantiate the content in the paragraph.
- Slide 3 – Symbolic interactionist perspective as the title. Add pictures to the slide that represent the following: religion, education, government, gender, and race. In the note section, discuss the definition of symbolic interactionist perspective and how each item represents stratification for the 5 subsets. One picture may represent all of the stratifications. Include at least one in-text citation to substantiate the content in the paragraph.
- Slide 4 – Structural Functionalist perspective as the title. Add pictures to the slide that represent the following: religion, education, government, gender, and race. In the note section, discuss the definition of structural functionalist perspective and how each item represents stratification for the 5 subsets. One picture may represent all of the stratifications. Include at least one in-text citation to substantiate the content in the paragraph.
- Slide 5 – Describe how stratification can be a positive or a negative aspect in society. List two or three positives and list two or three negative aspects of stratification. In the Notes section of the slide, fully explain the bullet points on the slide. A minimum of one paragraph for positive aspects and one paragraph for negative aspects is required for full credit. Include at least one in-text citation to substantiate the content in each of the paragraphs.
- Slide 6 – Summary: Use bullet points on this slide to restate the main points of the presentation and to discuss which perspective is most useful in understanding each stratification (gender, race, government, education, and religion) In the Notes section of the slide, fully explain why you chose the perspective for each stratification. The explanation should be one paragraph. Note: You do not need to re-explain the bullet points that present the main points of the presentation.
- Slide 7 – References: Use APA formatting to list all the sources you cited on your
slides or in the Notes sections.ensure you adhere to the following requirement- have approximately 7–9 slides,
- include a title slide,
- use a minimum of three academic resources,
- use a professional font type (e.g., Times New Roman, Arial),
- use a font size that appears legible and professional (18+ point font suggested),
- include in-text citations (where applicable), in APA format. Note: The Writing Center is an excellent resource for help with formatting, APA, and other writing resources,
- add a reference slide with references in APA format,
- use images (with citations),
- ensure that slides are brief and bulleted, and
- maintain a persuasive tone by summarizing observations and evaluations for each slide.
