The final research assignment topic is the Economics of Marriage. Take a look at familial structures, societal norms, gender norms, and the economy from the 1800's to the present day to compare and contrast how the economics of marriage has negatively or positively affected marriage. Use the following prompts to help you think about how various aspects of society has affected marriage.
