Power Relationships Through Sociological Perspective
In this final Portfolio Project, you are analyzing a power relationship from a sociological perspective. Throughout SOC101, including in Module 8, you will create components of this final project. This week, Week 8, in addition to creating new pieces of your analysis, you will pull together all the components into your final analysis. Make any editorial or clarifying changes based on feedback from your instructor throughout the term.
Please organize your Portfolio submission in this order:
- Section 1: A 1- to 2-page introduction to the power relationship you identified in Module 3 Preparation Assignment: Topic Choice and Annotated Bibliography. (Portfolio submission in Module 6).
- Section 2: A 3- to 4-page literature review (Portfolio submission in Module 5).
- Section 3: A 3- to 4-page research plan developed by you to rebalance the power in the relationship, including specific resources and strategies to reduce disenfranchisement (Portfolio submission in Module 8 - instructions for this portion of the submission are noted below).
- Section 4: An appendix containing the 4 peer-reviewed articles (Portfolio submission in Module 4).
Note that in Week 8, you create the following pieces:
- A 2- to 4-page research plan developed by you to rebalance the power in the relationship, including specific resources and strategies to reduce disenfranchisement.
Requirements:
- Format your paper according to the CSU Global Guide to Writing APA (which can be accessed by selecting the button on the left-hand Canvas navigation panel).
- Your final paper must be 10-14 pages in length, not including the required title and references pages.
- Your submission must include at least eight sources (1 from the Module 3 submission, 4 from the Module 4 submission, and 3 from the Module 5 submission).
