Overview
Submit a topic and an outline for your final project.
You are not expected to have the topic completely fleshed out, but you should have enough foundation from the initial chapters to set a framework for your project.
- Submit a topic and working title for your project.
- Outline the sociological approach to this topic:
- Identify the two (2) main theoretical frameworks that you will apply (refer to Chapter 1). Include at least once sentence connecting each theory to your topic.
- Identify 2-3 concepts from other chapters that you will apply. Include at least one sentence connecting each concept to your topic.
- You can revise your topic and refine your outline before the submission of the final project. You should incorporate the feedback from this task in your final project.
Consult with the instructor prior this deadline if you want feedback on your topic. Office hours are a great opportunity to get direct assistance.
