Zane Brooks:

The idea that there is a movement by white nationalists to overthrow the government in the United States is correct. The idea that that movement is backed by an "aryan" nationalist spirit is also correct. The idea that the government and government figures, such as Donald Trump, perpetuate those ideas is also correct, but not for the obvious reason. The government does not care about race; the government does not care about the succession of whites over other races, but the government does care about racial tension. In the words of ex Fox news anchor Tucker Carlson, "Every moment you're thinking about race, you're not thinking about class."

With cases such as James Mason, sections of his argument do stand valid. Our country has had the resources and ability to stop hunger, to stop the drug crisis, and to help with job security, but it has not done so. The issue with this is the framing of it as an immigrant issue. A common tendency that comes up with a dual labor market is the placement of blame on the immigrant for taking jobs from the "working class". In most cases, the working class is one race, and the immigrant group is another race. This increases racial tension between the two groups and can lead to uproars such as those showcased in Charlotte and in Colorado.

The objective amount of danger posed by racial groups should not be assumed to be increasing just because their presence is being noticed more. With increased integration and online communication, it is rational to say that our society is more diverse than it ever has been before. The more divisive and angry that our society is made to look, the less people tend to care about the upper class that is abusing every race. This is not to say that racial issues and supremacist groups are not an issue; they are, and they require ample counterpressure. What is important to notice is why these tensions are being pushed at certain times, and why officials back certain groups.
