Objective
After completing the three weeks of Interview Yellowdig assignments, you will create a final version of the interview package of materials and submit them to Kritik for peer review.
Purpose of the Assignment
This assignment helps you meet the course’s Global Engagement objective. You will interview someone about topics related to gender, sexuality, race, work, marriage, and/or intersectionality and connect their experiences to sociological ideas from our readings.
You will:
- Conduct a short interview
- Analyze it using course readings
- Practice qualitative research skills (interviewing, transcription, coding, analysis)
The person you interview does not need to know sociology or feminism. You are interested in their experiences, not expert knowledge. SEE BOTH RUBRICS ATTACHED DISREGARD THE SECTIONS WITH THE BIG RED X DO EVERYTHING ELSE
