Overview
2 hour 14 question test on ANOVA and T-test seperated in 2 parts
Part 1 is a 5 question portion on T-test:
- determining a research hypothesis
- calculating t for a single sample
- calculating t for a dependent (paired sample)
- calculating t for an independent t-test
- deciding if you reject a null hypothesis
Part 2 is a 9 question portion on ANOVA
MUST HAVE EXCEL EXPERIENCE I will provide a file that has 6 problems and will need to be downloaded and run for anaylsis, This should be done before this part of the exam. you will be asked the following:
Would you reject a null hypothesis for a one way ANOVA and what it means • Certain numbers from the results (F, MS between, etc.) • Describe the ANOVA • Numbers (#x#), the factors, and the levels • Was there a main effect of one of the variables (i.e. would you reject the null hypothesis) • Was there an interaction (multiple choice yes or no) • Certain numbers from the results (F, MS, etc.)
