Journal Assignment - you may complete this via video, or simply submit a written entry. Make sure to submit it in the proper location.
I know some of you have had technology problems with the first video assignment. So, you have the choice of video or print for your submission.
It’s a simple reflection of how you used your course to refine your qualitative research skills, what content you will carry forward into the dissertation, and where you need to strengthen skills, subject matter knowledge, familiarity with Walden dissertation procedures, etc.
Progress: What progress have you made in developing your idea for a research topic for your capstone? What have you learned from the course that has contributed to your clarity?
- Problems: What obstacles have you discovered in the process of developing your research topic in this course? What still remains unknown or unclear?
Plans: What are you planning as the next step for transitioning into the capstone process? Who or what resources do you think will be important in creating a research proposal that meets the criteria for quality?
- Type or video your thoughts. Submit them AFTER you finish your Final project.

- Final Project
As you know, the final project template does not exactly map into the requirements for the final assignment (ugh). Some of you are using the template and adjusting it - well done! For those of you who are struggling with this, toss the template and use the document “Items for the Template” as your outline.
- Either way, make sure you incorporate all of the elements: PLEASE STUDY THE WEEK 11 ASSIGNMENT RUBRIC to make sure you’ve included everything, and you understand how this assignment will be graded.
Be sure to incorporate ALL of my feedback to you from the course. EG, if I made recommendations to change your research questions, go with my recommendations. DO NOT go back to where you started...
