For this assignment, follow these steps in order.
Use the same template cover page that is saved on your drive from M1 SPSS-1 (ethods SPSS Assignments Cover Page Template.doc)
Download this SPSS assignment to your course folder on your drive: Methods SPSS Assignment 2
- Download this raw data file from the Florida Division of Elections (FDE) website to your course folder on your drive: https://results.elections.myflorida.com/downloadresults.asp?ElectionDate=11/4/2008&DATAMODE=Links to an external site.
NOTE: at the FDE webpage, just hit the Download button and save the raw data to your drive as the following filename: 11042008Election.txt
The downloaded data will be in a tab-delimited file that can be opened and processed in the SPSS program when you go through assignment two directions. The FDE download page has a table with file layout information that describes the fields comprising the data file. Use that information to properly label the variables in this assignment.
