Overview
As you may have already known, misleading information is everywhere. Knowing how to spot this information is important - for you as an informed citizen, and for you as a professional. Indeed, misinformation and disinformation are common today. Misinformation is false or inaccurate information that is communicated regardless of an intention to deceive. Disinformation is a species of misinformation that is deliberately deceptive (e.g. malicious hoaxes, spearphishing, computational propaganda, etc.)
For this assignment, please submit a link to misleading statistics in a graph, article, or image. Please provide a brief (1 paragraph) discussion about this graph or article and why it is misleading. Is it misinformation, or disinformation? Why?
