Request for Assistance with Data Analysis

Overview

I hope this email finds you well.

I’m reaching out to seek your help with analyzing the data in my Excel sheet, which is part of my audit. To make it easier for you to understand the context, I’ve attached the aim of my audit as a Microsoft Word document.

Here’s what I need help with:

1.General Analyses:

  • Age: Please calculate the appropriate statistics (mean, median, etc.) and create a suitable chart.
  • Sex, smoking status, and referral route: Summarize and represent in appropriate charts.
  • 2.CT Scan to MDT Discussion:

  • Using columns G (Date of CT Scan) and I (Date of MDT discussion), I’d like to calculate the average time (days) and present this in a clear format (sentence or chart).
  • 3.Performance Status and Radiological Stage:

  • Performance status is crucial; please analyze and create a chart.
  • For radiological stage, use either column J or K—whichever is easier for you—and provide an analysis/chart.
  • 4.Previous Cancer Diagnosis:

  • Analyze the “Yes” or “No” responses and provide a suitable chart.
  • 5.Liquid Biopsy Analysis (Key Part of the Audit):

  • Columns M (Date Taken), N (Date Reported), and O (Turnaround Time): Calculate the average/median turnaround time.
  • Liquid biopsy variants (e.g., EGFR, ALK, ROS1): Count how many times each variant is present (“Yes”) and provide a suitable chart.
  • 6.Sampling Procedure and Modality:

  • Column Z (Number of Sampling Procedures) and Column AA (Sampling Modality): Please analyze and create appropriate charts.
  • 7.Tissue Biopsy Analysis:

  • Columns AB (Sample Taken), AC (Report Date), and AD (Turnaround Time): Calculate the turnaround time for tissue biopsy.
  • Compare the turnaround time for tissue biopsy with liquid biopsy to highlight the differences (this is critical for the audit).
  • 8.Histological Diagnosis and NSCLC Subtypes:

  • Analyze and chart histological diagnosis and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) subtypes.
  • 9.Final Molecular Result Analysis:

  • Columns AG (Date of Final Molecular Result) and AH (Turnaround Time): Calculate the average time from liquid biopsy to final molecular result for tissue biopsy.
  • For example, if row 36 shows a turnaround time of 20 days, this is derived by subtracting the date in column AG from the date in column AJ (if applicable).
  • This is a detailed request, and I’d greatly appreciate your help in analyzing the data and creating the charts. Let me know if you have any questions or need further clarification.

Thank you so much in advance for your support!
