Overview
RESEARCH TIME!
What to do
Locate one (1) research article related to your field of study. This article should include quantitative statistical data (with both descriptive and inferential) AND it must use one of the test that we have studied. After reading the article, complete the following:
A. a one page summary of the article (what the article is about)
B. a one page summary of the statistics presented in the article and what the results mean (make sure you include the type of analysis performed, any important values listed, etc.)
How to format
This should be a minimum of two pages of content, typed, double-spaced using 12 point font (not including your cover page and reference page). Make sure you adhere to APA 7th edition and you are aware of plagiarism. You also need to scan and attach your article or include the web link to the article. Including the DOI in your reference page is fine. :)
Where to look
This article must be from a professional journal. Sterne Library is a great resource but there are also several online journals that you can access through the library and/or google. HERELinks to an external site. is a link to Lister Hill's online journal database/guide to help!
Reminder: HOW TO FORMAT!
*For APA format you would include the following: (1) Cover page, (2) summaries, and (3) Reference page. Please pay close attention to APA formatting as this is where most students have lost points historically. Ensure you take a look at the Sample Professional Reflection example below for formating your cover page and reference page.
