Overview
Hi! Here are the guidelines for the assignment. I will also add a doc. I wasn't in class, and my groupmates started that running document. You can see the link for the data set there (downloading it is free). I will also try to attach the data here (one of those files should be stata). So I need to chose bivariate variables, analyze them in stata/ spss. I would prefer something simpler, like a t- test (make sure not to chose variables that my classmates already chose); I am thinking maybe : Mental health (MENT_HEALTH) by sex (SEX) – this seems straightforward; or Sleep hours (SLEEPHRS) by sex (SEX) – also simple and relevant.- or you can chose something else that looks interesting!
here are the instructions:
Purpose of the assignment
PLEASE NOTE: This is a GROUP assignment. Completion of this assignment will prepare you to conduct analyses of qualitative and/or quantitative data, translate study results into plain language, as well as present findings to a diverse audience. Each group presentation will be given 30 minutes total (including the presentation and 5 min. for Q&A). So, plan your presentation accordingly; practice beforehand and time it to make sure it meets the guidelines.

- For quantitative studies: summaries of important statistical results (can use tables, graphs, etc.). Each student should analyze and report at least one bivariate analysis result.
- You may do this section in narrative form, in bulleted form, and/or use tables or figures to illustrate a point. Be creative!!!
- Important implications for social work (1 slide)

- Identify study limitations (e.g., what you would like to know about that was missing or future steps for research)
EACH GROUP MEMBER SHOULD CONTRIBUTE TO THE PRESENTATION EQUALLY AND PRESENT A SECTION OF IT!
