Overview
Select two locations in California and follow the steps below:
1.First, run the crime map and select one area in California (of your choice). Important: must be the same area for two time periods– i.e. just change the date but don’t move the map.
2.Second, select the time frame of 6/1-9/1/2020
3.Third, select the crimes:
•Homicide
•Assault (sexual)
•Robbery (Residential and commercial)
4.Fourth, run map and check numbers in your map for the crimes and enter the frequencies in the table in powerpoint
5.Fifth, select the time frame of 6/1-9/1/2021
6.Sixth, repeat steps 1 and 4 again to get the data for your second map (I. e a different area of California across the same dates) and data entry.
7.So, in total you will have 4 maps (area one at 2020, area one at 2021, are
